The Roche cobas 8000 modular analyzer series is an automated analyzer intended for qualitative, semi-quantitative and quantitative clinical chemistry and immunochemistry assays as well as ion-selective measurements. Per official Roche documentation, the system offers more than 150 scalable configurations built from a core unit and up to four analytical modules (cobas ISE, c 701, c 702, c 502, e 801, e 602), with maximum throughput of up to 9,800 tests per hour per configuration.
