Product Overview
The Mindray BC-5380 is an automated five-part differential haematology analyser built to bring affordable automation to smaller laboratories. Per official Mindray documentation, it combines three mainstream measurement technologies and produces a rapid, reliable five-part report from just 20 μL of blood in about one minute, with 15 μL sufficient for CBC-only testing. A 30-tube autoloader supports continuous loading, complemented by an independent closed-tube compartment for STAT and capillary samples, and selected microtainer tubes are supported for paediatric workloads. White-cell differentiation uses semi-conductor laser scatter together with a patented cluster algorithm and intuitive flagging to help identify abnormal samples, while the Windows-based software provides day-to-day QC monitoring, customisable reference ranges and report styles, auto-cleaning scheduling and bi-directional LIS connectivity. Throughput reaches 60 samples per hour with economical reagent consumption.
