What is the OPTIMIS Fusion YAG/SLT Laser Platform?

The OPTIMIS Fusion™ laser by Quantel Medical SAS (member of Lumibird Medical) is a versatile ophthalmic laser platform combining YAG photodisruption treatment and advanced SLT photoregeneration therapy in one fully integrated system. It is built into a premium Zeiss-type slit lamp with LED illumination, and is upgradable to a YAG, SLT and retina laser platform by combining it with a compatible Quantel Medical retina laser. KRIMS Meditech Solutions Limited supplies this equipment with professional installation, commissioning and after-sales support.

What is it used for?

YAG capsulotomy and peripheral iridotomy; selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) for glaucoma; ophthalmology departments, eye clinics and laser suites.

Clinical and operational benefits

Gaussian YAG beam profile and adjustable offset allow precise disruption at minimum energy levels; SLT delivery leaves the trabecular meshwork structurally intact, making treatment repeatable.

Key features

  • Dual-mode YAG/SLT laser cavity producing 1064 nm and 532 nm nanosecond pulses from a single cavity
  • integrated premium Zeiss-type slit lamp with LED illumination
  • easy switch between YAG and SLT modes
  • upgradable with the VITRA 2® photocoagulator for retina treatments.

Technical considerations

Laser cavity: dual-mode YAG (1064 nm) / SLT (532 nm), nanosecond pulses from one cavity | Delivery optics: integrated premium Zeiss-type slit lamp, LED illumination

Specifications should be confirmed against official Quantel Medical documentation before purchase decisions. Where a specification is not listed here, KRIMS will confirm it with the manufacturer on request.
