Product Overview

The BYOND (BEYOND Medical Devices Co., Ltd.) Volumetric Infusion Pump BYS-820 delivers accurately controlled IV infusions via a peristaltic pumping mechanism. The white vertical unit carries Power, Alarm and Door indicators, a large LED total-infusion-volume display with an LCD showing rate, time and pre-set volume, and a membrane keypad with Start/Stop/Purge/Silence and Shift/Select controls. Safety systems include an ultrasonic bubble detector at the top of the tube channel, an in-line pressure sensor with selectable occlusion levels — low 300 mmHg ±100 mmHg (40.7 kPa ±13.3 kPa) and medium 500 mmHg ±100 mmHg (66.7 kPa ±13.3 kPa) — a liquid-retaining clamp, tube-type indicators for compatible IV sets and a unique audible alarm system. A door with squeezing board clamps the infusion set against the peristaltic sheet.
